617,014. Collapsable combination table and seat. KERNICK, T. R. Oct. 2, 1946, No. 29360. [Class 52 (iii)] A collapsable combination table and chair comprises a seat member 11 fixed to, and a pair of legs 12 pivotally attached to one end of a pair of longitudinal frame members 10 together with a table top 17 pivotally supported by a pair of links 18 on the other end of the frame members 10 said links being extended to provide a pair of pivoted front legs 14 as shown. The table top is provided with runners 21 to which the links 18 and a further pair of parallel rear supporting links 19 are pivoted. The pivot points are provided with distance pieces and the arrangement is such that in the collapsed position the runners 21, the links 19 and the rear legs 12 lie adjacent the inner faces of the members 10 while the front links 18 and the front legs lie adjacent the outer faces. Transverse bars 13, 16 may be attached to the legs 12, 14 respectively to prevent excess rotation of the legs from the collapsed to the supporting positions. A collapsable backrest may be provided.
