Abstract

615,371. Nursery seats. HITCHIN, J. E. Aug. 2, 1946, No. 23108. [Class 52 (ii)] A collapsable chair for children wherein the back, seat, arms, and front struts are pivoted to form a four-bar linkage is provided with diagonally-arranged metal links 16 to maintain the device in its erected condition, one end of each link being detachably secured by a thumbscrew 15. Securing straps 17, 18 are provided which can also serve to hold the parts when folded and to form a carrying handle.
