[Class 52 (ii)] In a folding seat of the type comprising collapsable cross-frames a<1>, a<2>, a flexible seat a4, and side frames b connected to the cross - frames by pivots b<1> and links c, the upper parts of the cross-frames engage recesses b<2> or the like formed in the upright members of the side frames. The recesses b<2> are preferably formed in the inner faces of the frame members. The back-rest d of flexible material may be pivotally attached to brackets d<1> on the side frames.
