Abstract

358,246. Chairs. RASTETTER, W. C., 2329, Hoaglund Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana, U.S.A. Sept. 19, 1930, No. 28031. [Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (iii).] A folding combination chair and table comprises a table pivoted at one side. The chair shown consists of side members 2, a seat member 5 pivoted to them by means of curved brackets 6, forelegs 10 and rear legs 12 which fold outside and inside the seat frame 5 respectively. The right foreleg 10 has an extension 16 supporting a table top 17, which has a rearward extension or arm rest 19 pivoted at 20 to the side member 2. It also has a centrally directed lateral extension 21, Fig. 2, and is braced by a stay 22. The lower ends of the side members 22 are connected by a rod 24, which is connected to the forelegs by a link 27, Fig. 2, and at the other side by a link 28 and a latch 30.
