Abstract

Seats convertible into tables.-Part of a table top is hinged to turn back so as to give access to a seat or settee., the seat member d of which is hinged to a back member e mounted between the rails b' and serving g to strengthen the table frame. In use, the seat member rests upon blocks g projecting from the table legs and may also be supported by folding legs, and when out of use can be folded upwards and secured behind the rim f of the flap c. The flap may be held by stays in an inclined position to form an extension of the seat back, or it may fold right over on to the table top. The parts of the table top left at each end of the flap may serve as armrests. The arrangement, may be duplicated to provide two seats back to back.
