314,205. Sch÷berl, R. June 13, 1928. Bedsteads convertible into chairs.-In a chair convertible into a bedstead, of the kind comprising a back-rest formed of two frames 1, 1<1> hinged together at their upper edges 2 so that they can be swung into a common plane, the rear frame 1<1> rests at its lower edge on the seat frame 4 and carries feet 6 adapted to engage gaps between the frame 4 and the arm-rests 5, while the shorter forward frame 1 is hinged at 3 to the arm-rests 5 by members which allow it to rest on the seat frame 4 when the two frames 1, 1<1> are lowered into their horizontal position.
