318,657. Brandt, F. E. June 5, 1928. Bedsteads convertible into seats.-In a seat convertible into a bedstead, of the kind comprising hinged frames 1, 6, 7 supported by legs 2, 8, separate side frames 10, unconnected by any transverse members, are detachably secured to the sides of the central frame 1, to form arms and legs and to support the frame 6 when the device is used as a chair. One or both of the frames 10 may be detached, as and when required. The three frames 1, 6 and 7 may be provided with wire meshing 13, that of the frame 1 being further supported by upholstery springs 16.
