Bedsteads convertible into seats; bedsteads fitted with seats.-In a bedstead the supporting frame for the mattress is provided with a removable section mounted independently upon legs or suitable underframing 4 the mattress being formed with a corresponding removable section 3 adapted to be drawn out with the supporting frame section to constitute a seat or stool. The underframing 4 may be provided with a foot rest 5. A framework 6 constituting a back and arm rests may be provided for detachable attachment to the underframing 4.
