Bedsteads convertible into seats; seats convertible into settees; folding seats; folding bedsteads; rests, arm.-A combined convertible arm chair, lounge chair, and bedstead comprises three main sections a, b, c hinged together, detachable arm rests being provided comprising uprights s detachably mounted by means of plates rand slots q, and being hinged to hori. zontal members t detachably secured to the part c by pins x entering holes in plates v. The centre portion b may constitute a receptacle o to contain the detachable legs h, head-board n, &c., when the device is folded, and may carry pivoted lugs k which partly support the back a when in its lowered position. Two of these chairs may be placed side by side, and connected at the top of their backs by rods 13 and eyes 12, in order to form a settee.
