Abstract
385,360. Folding chairs. TAYLOR BROS. (SANDIACRE), Ltd. and TAYLOR, H. E., Midland Foundry, Sandiacre, near Nottingham. Sept. 15, 1931, No. 25811. [Class 52 (ii).] In a folding X-frame chair, the legs of each pair are permanently pivoted at their upper ends to immovable pivots 2, and one leg in each pair is constituted by a plurality of members 1a, 1b which are pivoted together to fold one over the other and which are in substantial alignment when the chair is erected. The legs may be stayed in erected position by links 6, and a guard-plate 9, for protection of the hands, may be provided. Interconnected pivoted back and leg members 12, 11 may be provided.
