Abstract

598,527. Furniture combinations and frames. VIGNON, P. L., and POMMIER, L. April 25, 1940, No. 7478. [Class 52(iii)] A table top 1 is provided with two pairs of legs 2 hinged thereto so as to fold upwardly and towards one another. Each pair is provided with a rigid cross bar 5 to support seat planks 6 which are positioned by means of abutments 8 and pin and aperture 7. Cross braces 11 are provided. When the table &c. is to be folded the seat planks 6 are removed and again secured to the folded pairs of legs by cords 9 on the cross bars 5 passing through holes 10 in the seat planks or by any other means.
