Abstract

Folding seats.-Front and rear legs 2, 1 are coupled together on each side by two or more vertically separated pivoted members 3, 4 and a seat proper 9, pivoted at 11 to the rear legs, is coupled to the member by a link 12. In the position of use, the front of the seat proper rests upon a transverse bar 8, and when the front of the seat is lifted the whole chair is folded, as shown in Fig. 3.
