477,089. Folding seats. LUFFMAN, G. June 26, 1936, No. 17846. [Class 52 (ii)] A folding chair comprises a pair of leg members a, b, pivoted at c, at each side, back members f hinged to the leg a of each pair so as to fold over rearwardly, and arm members g pivoted to the legs b and detachably connected to the back members, e.g. by means of a slotted plate k and a pin l, and a canvas or like seat connected to a spring roller p mounted on the back members and detachably connected to the front' of the frame. When the chair is folded, the plates k are engaged by pins and nuts on the back members, preferably on the ends of the spring roller axle. The spring roller is enclosed in a metal casing.
