Abstract

1379412 Folding grandstands WENGER CORP 17 Nov 1972 [18 Nov 1971] 53338/72 Heading E1A A grandstand adapted to be erected as shown in Fig. 5 and folded up for storage as depicted in Fig. 1 comprises a pair of frames 10, 11 which are hinged to the seats 12, 13, 14, carry castors 57 and are held apart in the erected position by a brace 40. The brace 40 is hinged to the frame 10 and is provided with latching engagement therewith for storage purposes, see Fig. 7 (not shown). In the extended position the brace 40 is secured to the frame 11 by a latch 60 for details of which Figs. 8, 9 and 10, (not shown), should be referred to. An extension riser 103, 105, 108 may be releasably attached to the erected grandstand.
