Abstract
725,960. X-ray apparatus. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES, Ltd. Feb. 26, 1953 [March 1, 1952], No. 5404/53. Addition to 721,072. Class 98 (1). In the apparatus of the parent Specification an optical system producing a real image is provided between the eyepiece and the screen of the image intensifier. The arrangement of the parent Specification, comprising an electronic image intensifier the screen 1 of which is viewed by reflection in mirrors 2, 6, is modified by the inclusion in the apparatus of a lens 3 between the mirrors to form a real image at 4,- and a lens 6 beyond mirror 5 by which the image is viewed. Lens 6, mirror 5 and an eyepiece 7a may be rotated about the vertical part of the optical axis.
