1401423 Optical apparatus BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE UNITED LEEDS HOSPITALS D M CRAVEN and O F CLARKE 31 Aug 1972 [14 June 1971] 27681/71 Heading G2J Image presentation apparatus comprises a headband 1, a cathode ray tube 8 and scan coil assembly 9 secured to the band 1, and an optical system 13, 15, 19 for projecting an image of a picture presented by the tube 8 in front of one of the eyes of the wearer. The parts 8, 9 are mounted in a cylindrical housing 7 pivotally attached to the headband 1, a lock 20 being provided. The optical system, which comprises mirrors 13, 19 and lens 15, is supported by the housing 7, and the mirror 19 may be fully or only partly reflecting.
