721,390. Projectile fuzes. POUDRERIES REUNIES DE BELGIQUE SOC, ANON. May 19, 1952, No. 12646/52. Class 9(1). Detonator assembly for grenades and similar devices has a body 1, striker lever 2 and a spring-pressed striker plate 4 locked against rotation by a safety pin 13. The detonator casing 10 houses a charge 9, a delay fuze 7 and a percussion cap 6. The safety pin 13 passes through holes 14 in flanges of the body 1 and aligned holes in vanes 11 integral with the striker plate. The body of the assembly may be formed from a thermosetting plastic material.
