Abstract
640,461. Electron discharge apparatus. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. May 8, 1947, No. 12492. Convention date, Dec. 15, 1944. [Class 39 (i)] An electric discharge tube has the lead-in conductor 4 for the anode 3 enclosed against the discharge by an insulating sheath 5. A glass moulding 9 has three concentric sealing edges, one of which seals to the sheath 5, a second to the tube envelope 1 and the third to the metal cap 8 of the lead-in conductor. An anode screen 6 is attached to the sheath 5 by a clip 7.
