Abstract
550,581. Lead-in wires for electric lamps. BRITISH THOMSON - HOUSTON CO., Ltd., and BOURNE, H. K. Oct. 25, 1941, No. 13738. [Class 39 (ii)] The lead-in wires to the main and/or auxilary electrodes 4 of discharge lamps are brought together for connection to a single fitting such as a screw cap, by passing the wires through glass tubes 6 external to the bulb 1 and conforming to the contour of the bulb. The tubes may be sealed at 7 to the bulb to give strength.
