Abstract

549,728. Electric incandescent lamps. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. (General Electric Co.). Nov. 28, 1941, No. 15337. [Class 39 (ii)] A lamp of the projection type such as is described in Specifications 515,091 and 526,924 has the external convex surface of its glass reflector 13 formed with two glass bosses 19 through which the lead-in wires 16, 17 extend; the insulating cap is shaped to fit round these bosses and is anchored in place by the lead-in wires which are soldered to the terminal plates 32 in a stretched condition so that no basing cement is needed.
