580,055. Electric incandescent lamps. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. March 24, 1944, No. 5475. Convention date, March 26, 1943. [Class 39 (ii)] A flashing lamp comprises a sealed bulb 10, having the external contacts 11, 12 connected to lead-in wires 14, 15, respectively, the lead-in wire 15 supporting at 16 one end of a flat bimetallic strip 19 near to, and in series with, the filament 20 to break the circuit when heated The 'other end of the strip rests when cold on a bent contact wire 17, 18 which is connected by a support wire 22 to one end of the filament the other end being connected by a support wire 21 to the lead-in wire 14. The support wires are positioned by a glass bead 23. Specification 460,648 is referred to.
