Abstract
731,317. Treating gases with discharges. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. March 12, 1953, No. 6826/53. Class 39 (1). An ozonizer electrode consists of an evacuated glass tube 1 provided with an electricallyconducting coating 7 on its inner wall and with lead-in conductors 6 sealed through its ends. The conductors 6 are connected to the coating 7 by springy metal strips 8 pressing against: blobs 9 of fused glass frit mixed with graphite. The coating 7 may comprise aluminium or colloidal graphite. The electrode is associated with a coaxial electrode in the ozonizer. Specification 592,038, [Group XXIII], is referred to.
