Abstract
621,005. Cores for dynamo-electric machines. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN. Feb. 10, 1947, No. 3830. Convention date, Dec. 20, 1943. [Class 35] A 4-pole laminated stator core is of square or rectangular shape, its pole pairs 4, 5 being of unequal length so that suitably shaped coils 6 can be slipped on to the short poles and then further coils 7 are placed on to the long ones, thus completely filling the available coil space. The height h<SP>1</SP> of the wide coils 6 must be less than its entry clearance p whilst the height h2 of the coils 7 must permit entry through the rotor space q. The other coil dimensions are arranged to fill the available space.
