Abstract
927,956. Arrangement of leads within dynamoelectric machines. SUNBEAM CORPORATION. March 21, 1961 [July 7, 1960], No. 10339/61. Class 35. Supply leads 27, 28 of coils 13, 14 are securely anchored, to prevent damage when they support the stator weight before assembly in the motor casing, by being frictionally held in slot 17 either by the leads being a tight-fit in the slot or by use of slot wedge 31. The slot extends over the axial length of the laminated stator core 11 and is located at the centre of a pole root in order to reduce cross flux. The coils may be preformed or wound directly on to the stator core.
