614,752. Manure distributers. STAHMER, G. F., and FOLEY, R. W. July 24, 1946, No. 22043. Convention date, June 8. [Class 6 (i)] A fertilizer distributer comprises a hopper 10 mounted on land wheels 13, 14, the wheels being journalled on collinear shafts 15, 16 passing through the hopper and carrying alternate agitating discs 32 and feeding discs 38, each feeding disc being located immediately above one of a series of adjustable apertures 46 in the hopper bottom. The adjustable apertures are formed by the application of two apertured slides, arranged end to end, to the base of the hopper, which is also apertured. Each slide is movable by means of a lever 52. Spreading boards 57, mounted beneath the hopper, maintain an even rate of distribution of fertiliser. The hopper is provided with a cover 12 and a draught tongue 20.
