Abstract

984,208. Powder distributers, THIEBAUD BOURGUIGNONNE (STEB) S.A. May 23, 1961 [May 26, 1960; July 19, 1960], Nos. 18590/60 and 25078/60. Heading A1D. Apparatus for spreading powered or granular material comprises a hopper 11 which is detachably mounted in a frame 1 arranged to be attached to a tractor lift linkage. The bottom of the hopped is provided with openings which are adjusted by means of a plate provided with corresponding openings. Below the hopper two adjustable collars 33, 38 are provided and have openings through which material flows to a distributing disc 31. The two collars 33, 38 may be adjusted to alter the effective size of the openings and rotated to adjust the pattern of the material spread on the ground. A removable agitater is provided in the hopper and the parts are driven from a shaft 50 connected to the tractor power shaft.
