611,349. Paper bags. BILLERUDS AKTIEBOLAG. April 29, 1946. Nos. 12834 and 12835. Convention dates, April 28, 1945, and June 25, 1945. [Class 94 (ii)] A valve bag provided with a valve seal comprising a tube 1 through which the bag is filled and which is then sealed by folding its outer end, is characterised in that the tube 1 is provided at its outer end with a tongue 2 of relatively stiff material such as pasteboard, attached to the tube 1, or in the valve opening, the outer end of the tube being folded about the inner edge of the tongue 2 which is then tucked into the blind valve between the valve opening and the tube 1. Alternatively the tube 1 may be folded about a line 3 previously scored on the tongue 2.
