627,711. Paper and like bags; cartons. CHAPMAN, R. Sept. 16,1946, No. 27677. [Classes 18 and 94(ii)] A carton adapted to afford visual inspection of its contents comprises a pair of bags 1 of transparent material disposed one within the other, and a stiffener or stiffeners 2 of cardboard or the like placed between the bags. Various arrangements of the stiffening material are described. A carton may be formed by folding and closing the ends of a composite tube comprising inner and outer transparent tubes, the stiffener or stiffeners having previously been attached to the appropriate surface of one of the tubes.
