Class 98(2) [Also in Group XVII] A container with processing liquid sealed in a cavity therein comprises two wall elements joined together longitudinally at their end portions and united by a rupturable seal disposed between a peripheral portion of one wall element and either a portion of an extension of the second wall element or a peripheral second wall element or a peripheral portion of the second wall element adjacent such extension whereby movement of the extension is adapted to rupture the seal between the two elements and release the processing liquid. As shown, Fig. 1, the container 20 is formed from oxygen and water-vapour impervious sheet material, as of metal foil having an outer backing of paper and an inner coating of an alkali-inert resin such as polyvinyl butyral, folded over at 22 to form wall elements 24, 26 which are heat sealed at 45 to form cavity 30 for processing liquid 32. Tension applied to continuation 40 of wall element 26 may rupture the seal 45 and release the liquid 32. Figs. 3 and 5 show, respectively, containers including rigid members 52, 58 as of wood or metal which project beyond the ends of the containers and which are adapted, by movement thereof, to rupture the seals. Use of the containers in the migratory transfer process is described in the original Specification 706,902. Specification 684,591 also is referred to.
