Abstract

588,343. Paper and like bags. RAUSING, R. Feb. 12, 1945, No. 3499. Convention date, March 27, 1944. [Classes 18, 66 and 94 (ii)] A container for liquid or powdered material is formed into a tetrahedron by rolling a blank 1 into a tube with an edge 2 stuck to the opposite edge, flattening one edge 9 which is stuck by the adhesive 3 and then flattening the opposite edge 10, which is stuck with the adhesive 4. The edges 9, 10 are perpendicular to one another. The adhesive edges may comprise thermoplastic and/or pressure-sensitive material which may be sealed by pressure and/or heat. The material used for the containers may be lined or unlined material, waterproof or greaseproof paper, metal foils, rubber or synthetic materials.
