[Class 126] In a solid fuel firegrate a body part, adapted to support fire bars, carries an air supply control flap extending across the front of the ash space beneath the fire bars and pivoted, so as to allow a small amount of lateral movement, on an axis adjacent to its upper edge; a lever attached to one end of the flap engages stops to determine the position of the flap. The flap h is pivoted in the body part c on trunnions, an extension of one trunnion being secured to a finger lever o, the free end of which has a nib q and which engages projecting stops p. A removable front cover d encloses the flap. A notch n is provided to enable the flap to be moved laterally during adjustment and to be removed easily.
