[Class 106 (iv)] A zero adjuster for an ammeter or other measuring instrument comprises a pin 10 mounted for rotation in the instrument casing and provided with a flanged head engaging the outer side thereof, an eccentric projection 12 on the pin adapted to engage a movable abutment to which is secured one end of a spring which restores the reading to zero, and a washer 16 mounted on a rivet 15 with one head moulded in the pin and a second head stressing the washer against the inside of the casing.
