[Class 143] [Also in Group XXIV] Weight measuring apparatus of the kind in which a high mechanical advantage is obtained by arranging the fulcrum and loading axes in close proximity to each other, comprises a lever 1 secured to a fulcrum spindle 3 supported at its ends in bearings 4 and carrying an eccentric 5, having a strap 6, the centre line of which coincides with the axis of the applied force. The force is measured at the end 8 of the lever by means, e.g., of a spring whose extension is suitably recorded. -
