536,615. Valve amplifying circuit. AMALGAMATED WIRELESS (AUSTRALASIA) Ltd. Nov. 15, 1939, No. 30156. Convention date, Nov. 15, 1938. [Class 40 (v)] In a two stage amplifier a variable volume control potentiometer 8 is included in the grid circuit of the second stage and the frequency response is adjusted by a regenerative coupling through a frequency dependent network from the output to the input. As shown the frequency dependent network includes condenser 32. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a single stage amplifier with a frequency dependent degenerative coupling also arranged to compensate for variation in the frequency response with volume. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
