Abstract

516,286. Valve amplifying circuits. MULLARD RADIO VALVE CO., Ltd., and CLARK, R. G. June 20, 1938, No. 18373. [Class 40 (v)] Negative feedback is provided from a variable combination of mixed impedances so arranged as to give a variable high frequency cut-off and a substantially constant rate of attenuation above the cut-off frequency. As shown in Fig. 2, the tone control comprises adjustable resistance R1 and condenser C1 which are bridged across the output circuit R5, T. Feedback is provided from R1 to potentiometer R3, R4 as indicated. In Fig. 3 the tone control comprises condenser C5 and adjustable resistance R10, the junction between C5 an R10 being connected to the lower end of load resistance R7 of the detector circuit.
