[Class 119] A single fastening means, such as a spring- pressed pin 23 in the cocking knob 19, is provided for holding the cocking slide 12 and the extractor 15 in position on the breech-bolt 1. The extractor is in the form of a bow spring which is stressed when the cocking slide is slid along dovetail grooves in the bolt, the spring pin 23 in the knob 19 then passing through the slide and the extractor to lock the parts. The handle and extractor are readily removable through the ejection opening. Specification 511,365 is referred to.
