Abstract

186,131. Murray, F. T., and Fearn, J. W. June 17, 1921. Breech actions revolving-chamber.-A double cylinder-stop system for revolvers comprises a back stop b on the trigger-blade and a front stop c<2> on a spring-pressed lever c'. The. lever c<1> carries a sliding spring pawl c<3> adapted to be engaged by a projection a<1> on the trigger-blade in such a manner that when the trigger is pulled the lever c<1> is first depressed and then released. At the firing instant, the cylinder is held by both stops. The front stop lever is pivoted in a recess machined in the underside of the frame.
