Abstract
532,250. Thermionic valves. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., and WINDSOR, W. A. July 18, 1939, No. 20872. [Class 39 (i)] In thermionic valves, the grid G consists of wire wound on two support rods R, which are bent over ,at their ends and welded into a tubular coupling member T. The lead-in L2 is passed into the envelope laterally through a hole H near the stem, is welded to the member T, and sealed to the envelope by the glass bead C. The anode A has a leading-in wire L1 sealed through the closed end of the envelope B. Specification 519,195 is referred to.
