Vacuum tubes.-In a valve having all the leading-in wires for the electrodes sealed into one end of the container, the free ends of the electrodes are maintained in the desired position relatively to one another by means of wires which are attached to the electrodes and are embedded in a glass or like bead. As shown, wires 21, 22, 23 attached to the anode, filament, and grid respectively, are embedded in a glass bead 24 which is free to move relatively to the container.
