515,115. Valve generating circuits. FERNSEH AKT.-GES. May 24, 1938, No. 15477. Convention date, May 24, 1937. [Class 40 (v)] To produce sawtooth current in the output circuit of a transformer a current is passed through the primary of the transformer which increases as a quadratic function of the time. The input current may be produced either by passing a rectilinear sawtooth potential to the grid of the valve having a quadratic characteristic. the primary of the transformer being in the anode circuit of the valve or by suitably the shaping pole shoes of a generator.
