Abstract

534,774. Valve generating circuits. STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES, Ltd., SHANNON, D. S. B., and CHATTERJEA, P. K. Sept. 15, 1939, No. 25924. [Class 40 (v)] In a time-base circuit in which a condenser C2 is continuously charged over an impedance R7, the condenser is connected to the control grid of an amplifier V1, V3 the output of which renders conductive a valve V2 through which the condenser discharges in series with the anodecathode path of valve V3. The amplifier V1, V3 may comprise a pentode and a triode, the anode of the pentode being connected to the grid of the triode, the anode of which is connected through a condenser C4 to the diode V2, the anode of which is connected to the control grid of the pentode.
