470,572. Valve generating and modulating circuits. BRONZAVIA SOC. ANON. Feb. 17, 1936, No. 4835. Convention date, Feb. 28, 1935. [Class 40 (v)] In a multi-grid valve generator, the plate P, grid G1 and cathode C are coupled to generate oscillations, e.g. by using a Hartley circuit, a positive grid G2 between G1 and the plate is also connected to the oscillating circuit for frequency stabilization and further grids G3, G4 are used as accelerating and suppressor grids. As shown, grid G2 is connected to a selected or adjustable tapping on coil SO, but an electrostatic, electromagnetic or mixed coupling, preferably variable, may be used. Modulating signals may be applied to the cathode circuit or to a grid circuit, G4 in particular. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also a similar generator without accelerating and suppressor grids. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specifications as accepted.
