Abstract
415,464. Valve generating circuits. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London, and KINMAN, T. H., Ladbroke House, Bilton Road, Rugby. Feb. 25, 1933, No. 5811. [Class 40 (v).] A back-coupled valve generator has the anode connected to the tuned circuit through a continuously - variable capacitative tapping, which permits progressive variation of the load impedance in the anode circuit. As shown in Fig. 2, the anode of the oscillator valve 1 is connected to an intermediate plate c interposed between the fixed plates a, b forming the condenser of the oscillatory circuit. The plate c is movable between the plates a, b to vary the coupling of the anode circuit to the oscillatory circuit. In Fig. 3, the anode is connected to the movable plate of a differential condenser 6 which has its fixed plates connected across the condenser 3 of the oscillatory circuit.
