Abstract
471,337. Valve generating circuits. LUBCKE, H. R. May 25, 1936, No. 14729. [Class 40 (v)] A relaxation oscillator comprises a valve having three grids G<1>, G<2>, G<3>, the grid G<1> being connected to the cathode K, the grid G<2> to a positive bias 11, and the third grid G<3> to the first grid through a condenser 8 and to a less positive bias 14, the anode being connected to the cathode through a condenser 18 and to an intermediate positive bias 17. The valve is a highvacuum valve, and the oscillations are taken off through the lead 22. An alternating- current generator 19 produces pulses, at or near the desired frequency, which are applied to the grid G3 and if desired to the other grids or the plate. The device operates by reason of the secondary emission from the grid G<3> and frequencies of from 120 to 6000 cycles may be obtained with amplitudes of from 2 to 75 volts.
