Abstract

507,063. Liquid-meters. PETROLATOR CORPORATION. Dec. 6, 1937, No. 33761 Convention date, Dec. 5, 1936. [Class 69 (ii)] [also in Group XIX] A liquid-meter of the piston type utilises a swesh plate 74 and is provided with means for adjusting the stroke. A finger 80 on the plate 74 rotates a shaft 44 operating an annular valve 52 which puts the port 58 of each cylinder 34 alternately in communication with the inlet 30 and outlet 32 for the liquid. The length of stroke of the pump is adjusted by rotating a screwed shaft 94 which carries a ball joint 78 on which the plate 74 is mounted. The shaft 62 driven by the meter is connected for this purpose to the valve 52.
