590,718. Swash-plate pumps. JONES & LAMSON MACHINE CO. Feb. 23, 1945, No. 4640. Convention date, Feb. 18, 1944. [Class 102 (i)] [Also in Group XXIX] A revolving-cylinder type pump has two swash-plates 10, 20, of fixed inclination, the latter being adjustable around the axis of revolution by fluid pressure acting on plunger 62 and rotating head 60. The distributing valve sleeve 21 is directly attached to this head whereas the swash plate is turned by gear wheels 76 engaging face gears so that the valve is turned at half the rate of the swash-plate. Inlet and outlet passages pass through the stationary central shaft 1.
