781,204. Revolving-cylinder pumps. STRAUSAK, G., STRAUSAK, O., NUTERBACHER, W., and ARHER, W. [trading as STRAUSAK & CIE MASCHINER UND APPARATEFABRIK]. March 4, 1955 [March 5, 1954], No. 6493/55. Class 102(1). A pump, particularly for supplying burners, comprises a gear pump 10 supplied through a filter and delivering to a reciprocating pump having pistons 22 in a revolving cylinder block 13 and actuated by a swash-plate 24; a relief valve is fitted in the connection between the two pumps and liquid by-passed, together with leakage, is collected in the casing and returned through outlet 53. The swash-plate is loaded by a spring 31 and its inclination is adjusted by a screw 26. A worm 57 on the cylinder block drives a worm wheel 58 the face of which is in friction engagement with a rim 63 on a sleeve 64 keyed to a shaft 65 which drives a revolution counter 69. The sleeve 64 is adjusted in unison with the swash-plate so that the counter gives an indication of the quantity delivered by the pump. The cylinder-block 13 has a spherical end which engages the spherical seat 12 of a distributing valve and is urged into contact therewith by the spring 19 bearing on the sleeve 20. A spring-loaded outlet valve is also fitted to the outlet of the swash-plate pump.
