506,576. Mixing liquids in flow. KRESL, B. Nov. 7, 1938, No. 32237. [Class 86] In apparatus for mixing liquids in flow proportionately of the kind in which a turbine &c. driven by one liquid drives a pump supplying the other, the pump is mounted on the casing of the turbine and is driven by a crank or eccentric. The main stream, passing through a conduit 1, drives a turbine 3, 4 which operates the piston of the pump 10 mounted on the casing 7 of the turbine. The added liquid is stirred by a vane 17 operated by an extension of the shaft 5 and is supplied to the main stream by a pipe 13. The crank may be of variable throw to vary the proportion of added liquid, and more than one liquid may be added by duplicating the pump &c.
