487,500. Mixing fluids in flow. ORNSTEIN, G. Dec. 21, 1936, No. 35092. [Class 86] In apparatus for mixing gases or liquids in flow in proportionate quantities in which the flow of one constituent operates a valve which controls the supply of pressure fluid to a motor for the supply of the other constituent, the valve casing is in one with the meter operating it. The main water stream operates a meter 2 actuating a rotary valve 3 in a casing 4. The valve controls the supply, through conduits 6, 7, of pressure liquid for operating a diaphragm motor 9 which operates a pump 11 for the added fluid. When the latter is a gas, water is also added by a pump 13, the water being supplied from the main through a reducing valve 14.
