Abstract
267,921. Carbox Soc. Anon. March 17, 1926, [Convention date]. Fixed-chamber apparatus with several measuring - chambers and counting - apparatus. - A petrol or like pump capable of measuring - out large volumes, say five litres, is fitted with a smaller auxiliary device capable of delivering a smaller quantity, say one litre. The Figure shows a device of the kind with two measuring- vessels, and shows combined with it a small measuring-vessel 4 to which liquid is supplied by a bye-pass 5 and valve 6. As it fills a float valve 16 closes the air vent 17. The liquid is delivered as shown by the cock 6, pipe 10, clack valve 11, and hose 12. A counter 14 registers the operations of the handle 13.
